Hi, and thanks for checking out the site. If you have questions about lessons go to the lessons tab, and call or email us with any questions. Any repairs should be dropped off during business hours. We only rent to customers who go to nearby schools or take lessons with us, sorry, no exceptions. If you want to sell us something, drop it off during business hours and give us at least 48 hrs. to assess the gear and give you a good price on it. We offer recording packages on weeknights after 8pm, on Saturdays after 3pm, and all day Sunday.

We need Trumpets, Percussion bell kits, Bass Clarinets, Tenor and Bari Sax’s, and Bassoons. Inventory on other band instruments is great at the moment.

RENTALS

Our rental program is offered to students of the store and nearby schools only. You must have a valid D.L or state I.D., credit card, and place of work. We take care of all your normal “wear and tear” repairs while you rent. We do not cover damaged or lost instruments. You can purchase an instrument if you don’t want to rent or do not meet our requirements. We reserve the right to not rent to anyone.

LESSONS

Pearl Street Music has one of the best lesson programs available in the industry.  We offer a great program that fits the needs of any style of musician. We believe in lifetime musicians and strive to have every student, at any age, get the most versatile and useful skill set possible.

Pearl Street has over 200 students each week taking one on one music lessons. We are sure to have the perfect teacher for you or your student. No matter what your skill level we will be happy to take you to the next level with one of our talented instructors.

REPAIRS

We take pride in having a full service repair shop on site to meet most of your repair needs.
Here is a list of basic services we offer for a variety of instruments.

Band Instrument Repair

in house Cleanings

Cleanings include: full instrument flush, brush and disinfect.

  • Trumpet and Trombone: $35

  • French Horn and Euphonium/Baritone: $55

ultrasonic cleanings

  • Ultrasonic cleaning is a safe and thorough cleaning process that cleans instruments inside and out without using harsh chemicals. It safely removes deposits and years of built-up "gunk" that occurs with common use. Call/email the store for accurate pricing.

Re-pads & Re-corks

All re-pads include: Cleaning, removal of old pads/corks/felts, remove old adhesives, clean rods and screws, adjust springs (replace as needed) add new pads, full intonation and adjustment of instrument.

  • Flute Re-pad: $232 for open keys; $264 for closed keys

  • Clarinet tenon or mouthpiece corks $10-$15 each depending on size

  • Plastic Clarinet Re-pad: $232

  • Wood Clarinet Re-pad: $238

  • Alto/Tenor Neck Corks $20 each

  • Alto Saxophone Re-pad $360

  • Tenor Saxophone Re-pad $415
